3d Generalist (Modeling / Rigging /animation): During this production i was in charge of the modeling of the dress and of a « proxy » of the actress.
At a first moment of the production i received the sewing plans of the existing dress that i used in Marvelous Designer in order to create a 3d asset comparable to the actual dress.
Then it has been decided to let the dress grow over the time while it was blown by the wind. The simulations of wind and fabrics were done in Marvelous Designer too and then modified in 3dsmax.
The « proxy » of the actress has been created and rigged in order to be used to have correct collisions with the fabric during the simulation.
